Annual Swimming Gala
Every variety of race imaginable was thought up by the
New Malden Centre swimming teachers to enable all our swimmers from just 3
years of age to compete at our annual gala.
Medals were presented by Mr. Mark Ross, Headmaster of Shrewsbury House School
and the coveted cup for one length freestyle was won by a very proud Raef
Murphy, Pre-Prep Class.

Year One Pupil Short-Listed in Story Competition
William, from our Infants class, had his story board short-listed for the Writing The World competition, run by the Polka Theatre. His was one of only six stories to be short listed in the Years 1 & 2 category and there will be a presentation of his 'highly commended' certificate. The competition was divided into years 1&2, years 3&4 and years 5&6, and overall they had over 500 entries!

Shrewsbury House Football Tournament
In May, Linley House School entered the annual
Shrewsbury House Football Tournament for local Pre-Prep schools.
The team, against much larger schools, played brilliantly, winning 1 match and
only conceding one goal throughout.
